… found in grocery stores and food products (yes, even in restaurants) come from hens raised in cages and fed GMO grains, synthetic vitamins, minerals and antibiotics.

On the other hand, we locally source eggs from pasture-raised hens that are free to roam around and forage on bugs and grass. This makes their eggs more nutritious and more delicious.

Frankie Bakes only with eggs from pasture-raised hens. It’s simple math:

Eggs from happy hens = cookies that make you happy.

We use Enjoy Life dairy free semi-sweet and dark chocolate made only with unsweetened chocolate, cane sugar and cocoa butter.

We are committed to partnering with transparent suppliers and sourcing the cleanest raw materials for our baked goods that do not contain any emulsifiers or soy derivatives. Enjoy Life is America’s #1 allergy friendly chocolate, verified non-GMO and certified gluten free.

Organic Cane Sugar

We use Wholesome Organic Cane, Light Brown, and Dark Brown Sugars in our recipes.

Why Wholesome Organic Sugar? Because it is made from organic sugarcane sustainably grown in South America without chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides, and is minimally processed. It is naturally gluten free, vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified and kosher certified.

Speciality Tea Blends

In the pursuit of creating elevated cookie flavors, we incorporate premium tea blends into some of our recipes.

We make our own caramel in-house with only organic heavy cream, organic dark brown sugar, sea salt, and organic vanilla. It’s labor intensive, but it’s worth it to keep our cookies clean.

We searched far and wide for clean caramel. All the available options contained artificial ingredients like “caramel color, “vanillin,” highly processed seed oils, high fructose corn syrup, “natural” flavors, artificial colors FD&C yellow #6 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow #5, aluminum lake, or FD&C blue #2 aluminum lake. Woof!
